Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of NAVGEAR Universal Dash MountCustomer Review: Excellent solution if you want a portable mount Summary: 5 Stars
I didn't want to affix my GPS to either the dashboard or windshield. Liked the cut away feature since my GPS doesn't sit up too high and I was afraid if I got the donut type portable mount that the lower part of the GPS screen might be obscured. This seems to be heavy enough that it stays in place on the dash - no sliding around.
Customer Review: Alternative use for Navgear Mount Summary: 5 Stars
I didn't use this to hold a gps on a car dashboard. I'm using this to hold my Microsoft Kinect on my DLP projection tv so it doesn't fall. Cheaper than buying a stand. The mount grips well the thin ledge of the tv and keeps the Kinect stable. So, an atypical usage of this mount. But it does the job.
Customer Review: Portable GPS mount Summary: 5 Stars
This is the secound of these I have purchased and they are a blessing when moving from car to car without having to use the factory vacuum cup system. The only slight problem is if you brake heavily the whole unit with the GPS slides around a bit but other than that it is a wonderful thing to have.
Customer Review: GPS Dash Holder Summary: 5 Stars
Since I didn't plan on mounting my GPS to the window, I bought this dash mount that allows the window mount to be affixed to it. This bean bag really holds my Garmin nuvi 755T in place. It has never moved. My dash isn't completely flat and that may attribute to its rock-solid performance.
Customer Review: Excellent product Summary: 5 Stars
This dash pad looks much nicer and smaller outside than it does in the picture. It works well and stays in place even at harsh turns and highway speeds. Cheaper than the Garmin-made one and more versatile (Can be used with any GPS as opposed to with only the Nuvi GPS's of the Garmin pad)
