Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of NAVGEAR Universal Dash MountCustomer Review: Great design, price was right Summary: 5 Stars
We've had this dash mount for about a month and we love it. The triangular shape allows the pad to fit tightly into the curves and crevices of a dashboard and prevents all slippage. The openings between the weighted portions of the mount allow for better clearance for power cords and adjustments as opposed to the circular-shaped dash mounts.
We've used the mount in all of our cars and gotten excellent results from each. Eight thumbs up!
Customer Review: NavGear GPS Dash Mat Summary: 5 Stars
Great item with which I have no complaints. Only area of "concern" is that GPS suction cup mount broke loose any number of times initially, more likely a problem with suction cup than with mounting base. Don't know what I did different (other than a bit of saliva on bottom of suction cup), but has held well for last week or two. Can anyone suggest to me how one SHOULD re-vitalize the suction cup to maintain a good seal?
Customer Review: Awesome, and the price is right Summary: 5 Stars
This thing is so much cooler than the windshield suction mount. It stays put (at least as well as the suction cup thing) is easy to remove and doesn't leave the nasty tell-tale ring on the windshield.
I bought one for myself and one for my Dad. He uses it with his old Streetpilot and reports that it stays put even with his bulky GPS. I use it with a svelte nuvi 760 and it works like a charm.
Customer Review: No Slide Dash Mount Summary: 5 Stars
It worked like they said it would. We took it on our vacation. Packed it in the suitcase, when we got our rental car we put the pad on the dashboard and it stayed put. It did better than I thought in some of the turns! I would recommend this to anyone who dose not want to use the windshield to hold the GPS. We would slide it back and forth between us, so I could see the route a little better.
Customer Review: GPS dash mount Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great idea. It is smaller than I thought it would be, but it works great. You can place the GPS on your dash where you can see it best. When you stop it is easy to tuck the unit under the seat or in the glove box so that it is out of sight from thieves. It does not slide around and the price is great. The ones I saw in the stores were about $40.
