I bought one for my Garmin and loved it so much I bought 4 more for my kids TomTom units, it works with any brand. A friend has a name brand and thiers is a bit narrower but slides off their dash when they make turns. I love that I can leave it all hooked up and just unplug my GPS and put it in any other car quickly, it is also very easy to take off the dash to put on the floor when stopping at a store to dissuade would be theives. No mount left on the window or dash to advertise what may be in the glove compartment. It can also hold anything else with a suction cup meaning you can attach a silly bobblehead or a holder for an ipod.Customer Review: I've bought Three

I bought one for myself. Soon after I received it I purchased three more of these - one for my wife, one for my son and one for my son-in-law. We all travel for work / pleasure and these dash mounts are portable. We can take them with us and they fit virtually any vehicle we may rent. When we park, we just move it to the floor and out of sight - no little disk showing the world we have a GPS somewhere in the car. And the price is right.
Only had it slide once. It was on an unlevel part of my dash and I made a hard turn. It just slid a few inches but I moved it to a level area and it stuck.

I've been using this dash mount for my 5" Garmin for about a month now. It's been perfect. I can place it anywhere on the dash, even the edge of the dash, and it stays put! I've even tried to make it slide with some sharp turns and hard breaking...but nope, never budged once. It's easy to stash out of sight when I need to park and leave it in the car for errands. When I first received it in the mail, I was very pleased with its looks (quality of workmanship and size). It's much smaller and compact compared to other dash mounts I saw at all the big box stores. I am so glad I bought this dash pad for my GPS. It holds my GPS in almost any position and has never moved on the dash, nor has my GPS fallen off or come loose from it. It is easy to move about - I lift it off the dash and put under the seat when I leave my car with the GPS still on it - no problem. Also, my dash is covered with velour and this dash pad still does not move - I love it - no rings on my windshield from the GPS and no GPS falling off the windshield and onto the floorboard - cheaper than the other brand - couldn't be better - buy it - you won't be sorry.Customer Review: Perfect Portable GPS Mount

This very well made and nicely heavy mount for my GPS has been perfect. The suction cup has held onto the mounting plate for weeks without fail. The beanbag type mount fits anywhere on any of my vehicle dashes, thanks to the three ears which can be positioned to fit hills and valley of the dash. It does not slide around, and can be placed out of sight instantly when parking - with no telltake ring on the windshield, like the normal mount. The material is very heavy duty and the stitching very strong and neat. If I were to make one, it would be exactly like this one.
