Customer Review: Defective and hard to program

The product showed up working fine at the start, so I tossesd out the box it was shipped in.
I couldn't get the darn thing programed (date/time/preset channels). About three days later, the remote control stopped working. I thought maybe it was the batteries (it wasn't).
I contacted the seller, and they told me I would have to send the whole product back, in the box it came in. I was already expecting this, and was prepared for them not to replace the defective remote control. I explained to them that I wasn't looking for them to replace the remote control (even though I only had the product for 3 days). I was willing to buy a remote control that worked. I understood that it was my bad for tossing out the box it came in.
Basically they pawned me off on to some other company and said they couldn't help me with the product I bought from them. This was someone else's problem now.
I really felt dumped by them. I felt like once they got their money, they didn't feel and obligation for people that bought their products.
But, the radio (and the iPod) unit is still working great, just without the remote control or anyway to operate many of the functions/capabilities.
