I just received this product today and I love it. I like that you can completely control it with the remove. You can hit the snooze button with the remote. It controls the iPod with the remote. My boyfriend thought the speakers were better than he expected. He is a Bose fan and very much into sound systems. The radio gets great reception. And did I mention the functionality of the remote? The Item is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a very good sounding easy to use Radio/IPOD Dock.
We first tried to buy it from Sears, but they failed us on delivery and ultimately we cancelled the order and bought is off Amazon. No complaints with the purchase at all; it actually was received a few days days earlier than the quoted lead time.

iHome has fixed a few oversights in prior models like no radio station presets and the sound is better than the predecessors. The iH9 sounds very good, especially compared to other brands of similar price and fewer features. I echo the first comment - no need to get this through Amazon/TechNG since you can get it directly form iHome (with free shipping) for $30 less. I saw this neat radio at a doctors office. I was already thinking of looking into a iPod radio and this one had the style I like. Just plain and simple. It has awesome sound and then I found out about the 3d sound, I was even more impressed. The only thing that bugged me was the LED screen is very bright by default, but can be adjusted by button. I bought this product for each of my two Grandchildren. It was an excellent choice for them to take to college in the fall. It has proven to be everything they had hoped it would be. They are so pleased with the sound and the ease of use.
