Customer Review: Love it, Love it, Love it, Like it.

The iHome IH16G knocks it out of the park in almost all categories.
#1 The sound is awesome! For such a small unit it puts out great sound. It is no Bose but it is not $500. It does not sound like a clock radio. 5 stars for sound.
#2 Easy to set up easy to use. The hardest thing about set up was getting it out of the box. I never read the directions and have been using it for a month.
#3 Very small. My wife and I travel on our motorcycle and as you can imagine space is limited. We would take this unit with us so we have a good sound system when we stay somewhere and we won't have to bring our ipod charger. We were very shocked when we opened the box and saw how small it was. Its maybe half the size of a carton of cigarettes.
#4 Yes the light level is adjustable 1,2,3, off still, for me, it is to bright even at it lowest level. I took some red transparent plastic super glued it over top of the clock lens and I am happy with that. The problem is that the numbers are not what lights up, the background is what lights up and it is just to much. If you try to read them a night it is blinding and you can not make out the numbers. This may sound stupid but in a perfect world I would also change the buttons that adjust sound etc. they are loud when you push them. These are my only real complaints with the whole thing. As I said the lens cover helped a lot with the light situation.
I looked at many and listened to many ipod clock radios before buying this one. It was not the cheapest but close to it. It sounded better than many much more expensive ones. Big thumbs up for this one.

The iHM16 lets you wake to your iPod, gradually increasing the volume so as not to jar you out of sleep too forcefully. If there is no iPod present or there is no music detected on the iPod at alarm time, the iH16 will automatically switch to buzzer alarm, to make sure you get there on time. Wake or Sleep to iPod
Waking up to your favorite music is a great way to start the day. The iHM16 lets you wake to your iPod, gradually increasing the volume so as not to jar you out of sleep too forcefully. If there is no iPod present or there is no music detected on the iPod at alarm time, the iH16 will automatically switch to buzzer alarm, to make sure you get there on time. The requisite nine-minute snooze is also included, since it takes some of us a little longer to get out of bed.
You can adjust the sleep timer from 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes, and the sleep features a volume setting independent from the alarm volume.
Charge Your iPod
While you're recharging in your sleep, your iPod's filling up on electricity, so when you hit the pavement your iPod will be ready to go.
Dimmer Settings
The snooze button also changes the dimmer, so you can adjust the display to your desired brightness. Choose from three settings.
Sure Alarm
Provided you have installed four "AA" batteries, you'll still make it to work in the event of a power outage, thanks to iHome's "Sure Alarm" backup feature.
