I had my doubts about this when I bought it, but it's turned out to be very useful.
It fits over the psp like a glove (and it doesn't scratch the psp!) and after about three months all the scratches that could have ruined my PSP were evident, so it obviously works.
Pros:
1. Slim; so it doesn't look ridiculous.
2. Little door in the back makes it so you don't have to take the whole case off to load a game in the cartridge.
3. It covers the screen!
Cons:
1. The latch that keeps the door in the back closed broke on one side after a while, but it still closes.
2. It truly does take damage, which is the whole point, but I'm sure in four more months I'll have to buy a new one.

If you're an adult and you don't drop expensive electronics and handle them with care, this is a good case for you. Putting this in a jacket, pants pocket, suitcase, etc really doesn't take up much more room than the PSP3000 itself. I've dropped it out of a bag onto a counter and it made a horrible sound but no damage to case or PSP. It does scratch like all cases, but that is the point, so you don't scratch the real thing. Lid that flips open to put games in is durable but does look like a kid could easily break it. So far it's the best case I've used for my little do it all toy.Customer Review: Not the greatest, but it gets the job done

As the title says, it isn't the best but it isn't the worst. The flap for the UMD keeps coming open even though I have push it closed. That would be the only flaw in my book. I read another review that it gets scratches easily. Well, that's why you buy something like this. It's better for the case to get scratches than your PSP.
