This charger looks and feels sturdy, and even if we consider that it could be longer, it is good enough to receive five stars (if you have to plug it, let's say, in the power source used for lighting cigarretes, and you will play PSP sitting in the second row of seats, then the charger is too short, and will unplug itself when you try to pull it to you farther than where the back of the frontal seats is).
We bought this charger for our son's PSP. This charger works very good, turns on a little green light when connected to the power source in your car. Recently we traveled by car twice for almost 3 1/2 hours each time, and the charger proved it's worth at that time. I think it took around an hour each time to completely recharge the PSP when it was running low on battery. Of course, my son didn't have to stop playing while charging the PSP. The little green light is only for telling you that it is properly connected to the power source, so check the PSP itself to see the corresponding light that will tell you if the PSP is charging correctly or if it has finished charging itself(see your PSP manual, of course!).
