I was just browsing around for PS3 accesories here on Amazon and I noticed this controller adapter for the PS3. At first I thought this was a knock-off accesory, then I decided to give it a shot and place an order. When my order arrived a few days later I was anxious to try the controller adaptor out and after starting my PS3 a few minutes later, it worked perfectly! I was able to do everything I did with my PS3 controller except use the sixaxis controls of the PS3 (since the PS2 controller doesn't support sixaxis controls). The PS2 Controller Adapter for the PS3 is a good way to save money (since actual PS3 controllers are expensive) and it's also a good reason to still use your PS2 controllers (that is, if you no longer play your PS2).Customer Review: Works, sorta. I never bothered to write reviews for stuff I by on Amazon but I had to this time. Just to warn anyone considering buying this product. This is for the people who are planning to buy it to use for six button controllers or fighting sticks that aren't official Sony controllers. I have been been using the converter for about 3 months. My first Nuby Street Fighter controller went dead about a month ago. I thought it might be the controller because it was old. I used another Nuby Street Fighter controller and it went bad in under a month. I'm guessing the converter did it because how often do you see any controller go bad? If your wondering my controllers might have gone bad because I threw my controllers... It's not likely because I never throw my controllers. Maybe into the air after a close lose in Street Fighter, but nothing that could possibly damage the controller at all. So if your planning to use a expensive Hori Stick or a custom made stick that requires a Playstation controller converter, I recommend making sure you someone else has used the converter before. I would hate for someone to have an expensive arcade stick go bad because there converter cable ends up destroying it. Customer Review: it works...

works just fine, even perfectly. The thing i must express though, is that this is NOT a replacement for your original ps3 controller but a secondary one, or a backup at most. i have not tried this with anything other than a regular ps2 control.Customer Review: PS2 adaptor for PS3
