Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Zune Travel PackCustomer Review: The perfect companion for my Zune 120 Summary: 5 Stars
I saw this here one day on clearance for $12.89. I thought this was such a great deal, I bought it. It came on time and I was amazed at what $12 bought. The ear-buds alone are about $40. It comes with a case, a charger, ear-buds, sync cable, and a wired remote with 2 headphone jacks, giving you up to 3 headphone outputs total.
The case itself looks more like (what another reviewer said) a shaving kit instead of an mp3 player case. It has so much room that I can bring all of my cables and accessories with me safely without any worries.
The charger is a first generation Zune charger so it is very huge. It's no problem though because I have a newer, smaller one. I am not sure if the bigger one works because I never needed or used it.
The ear-buds are also the first generation premium ear-buds. They have sound so good that they are the only ear-buds I use away from home, but I still use my Sony MDR-XB500 40mm XB Diaphragm Driver Extra Bass Headphones(Not Included)at the house.
The remote is once again a first generation accessory, but works perfectly with my Zune 120. It allows you to put your precious Zune in you pocket and control it without dropping it. It just has the basic Play/Pause, Rewind, and Fast Forward buttons as well volume controls for both headphone jacks. Note that the remote drains your zune battery faster and can't be used while your zune is charging. I am not sure if it works on zune hd because I never tried.
Finally the sync cable, well uhh........(Thinking). Connects you zune to the computer just in case you did not know:). This travel pack is a must for any zune owner.
Customer Review: Exceeds expectations Summary: 5 Stars
I've been literally waiting for the mailman each day to deliver the travel pack to me and it finally arrived today. Even though I was very excited about getting it, I was even more excited with actually using the accessories. The case is nice: big enough to fit anything important in it and small enough to travel with. It is also very organized. The adapter's nothing new, it charges the zune (obviously). I suppose its good for when there isn't a computer available, but I already had one, so I didn't care a whole lot. The dual headphone jack controller is extremely convenient. I tend to go on vacation with my family and not everyone in it wants to listen to what's on the car's radio. I can share my music with my friends and family now and not have to either listen to it with the volume too high or the volume to low. I can control how I want to hear the music, and they can control how they hear it. The most fascinating item included were the headphones. I knew that they were supposed to be able to isolate noise, but I didn't realize that it made that much of a difference. As soon as I put them on, everything went silent and the only thing I could hear was the music. However, this does not mean that they necessarily reduce all noise to nothing. At the time I was alone at my house, and as soon as people got home, there was audible noise. I did notice an extreme reduction, though, and am happy that I bought them for the price I paid. Strongly recommended for travelers and non-travelers alike.
Customer Review: This is a great pack! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the Zune Travel Pack on Ebay for about $20 as an accessory pack for my Zune 120. I love this pack. It has everything I need to take my Zune with me: an AC Adapter/Sync Cable so that I can charge my Zune at work or wherever I go; a wired remote that allows me to control my Zune while it sits in my pocket and which--despite what other posters have said about it not working with the newer generation of Zunes (80 & 120)--works just fine (I did have some initial trouble figuring out that I had to switch it to the unlocked position, though. I wonder if the posters who had trouble had the same problem and didn't figure out the solution.); an extra set of headphones which--despite being labelled as "Premier Headphones"--aren't that much better than the ones that came with the Zune (I own the V2 Premier Headphones as well and they're much more "Premier", featuring nylon cords and a much cooler look. I like the V1 headphone case a lot better than the V2 pouch, though.); and best of all a Gear Bag that has a compartment for my Zune and all of my accessories! Everything fits in its place and is compact. This is a great pack!
Customer Review: Definitely Worth It Summary: 5 Stars
This has definitely been a well decided purchase, and has not disappointed in the slightest way. Who couldn't use the extra sync cable and a charger? The case fits the zune 30, 80, and 120 models perfectly, and the strap does a good job of securing my HD as well. The included headphones are a bonus as well, with a nifty carrying case that fits perfectly in the travel case, but is a little annoying to wrap up again, and is still just average headphones, although it does come with adjustable rubber cover sizes. But my favorite part of this by far is the dual connect remote, which allows me to change the song and volume without taking the HD out of my pocket, and lets kme play and pause as well; it evens lets a friend plug a pair of headphones in too. It even lets me use my old zune 80, whose headphone port gave up.
To all that are confused: THE REMOTE DID WORK FOR THE HD AND 80
Amazing and totally worth th 15 dollars i paid. in fact, id have easily paid double and still been proud of the purchase.
Definitely recommended to any zune owner
Customer Review: A must have for any Zune owner! Summary: 5 Stars
Even though the earphones that come with this travel pack aren't the greatest, it is still a fabulous deal at about $25.00 to have a solid protective case for my player and accessories.
The electrical charging adapter is nice and there is a spot just for it in the case, as there is a spot just for the earphones that come with it (or phones you might want to put in that spot).
Zune is securely held in a hard foam-surrounded indentation by a sturdy elastic strap to protect your investment.
An extra USB cable is included, which is nice because it is always good to have a spare one available just in case.
A wired remote is also included but all the functions of it are not compatible with my Zune 120, so check out specs somewhere to see what it will and won't do for your particular Zune model. I'm putting mine up for sale on eBay.
