Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Zune Premium Headphones for Zune 4GB, 8GB, 30GB, 80GBCustomer Review: Best headphones i've had Summary: 5 Stars
broke my first pair of these, but i snag the cord on my headphones on stuff at work a lot so i never really expect headphones to last.... so lasting almost 1 year is amazing for my headphones. these are my second set and i will buy another pair of them if they break, because the sound quality is way better than any of the cheap headphones i've had before.
there is some annoying sound picked up because of the cord fabric if you rub the cord on a zipper of a coat or other stuff but i never really notice too much because i play my music loud.
there's a pretty good range on size of the earpieces... but i'm not sure these would be good if you have small ears because i have fairly large ears... but i use the small earpiece it comes with
Customer Review: 15 bucks a year Summary: 5 Stars
I first purchased my Zune Premium headphones 2 years ago for about 30 dollars during a sale at a local retailer. I love Zune products but this is by far one of the best purchases I've made. I've had them for two years and they still work great. I'm purchasing my second pair because the base of the cord/jack finally gave in to wear and tear and the threads are beginning to fray on the chord's casing. Beginning. Still working fine, but I can totally justify spending another 30 or 40 dollars for comfortable, noise canceling, quality earbuds that last 2 years at least. Just to be clear, I'm rough with headphones and they generally don't last long in my case. These took a helluva beating! Five stars, and highly recommended.
Customer Review: New and Improved Summary: 5 Stars
The new second version of the Zune premiun headphones offers crisp clear sound in a noise cancelling design. Bass is strong, but not overpowering. Treble is crisp without being too bright or tinny sounding. These headphones come with three additional sizes of inserts to fit your ear perfectly.
As far as drawbacks to this product, I've found only one. The cord for these headphones is covered in a fabric to help prevent tangling. However, when the cord rubs against your clothing, the texture of the material on the cord transmits noise through the headphones. I did not find this bothersome, but some might.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase, and I highly recommend these headphones.
Customer Review: Best deal for the price Summary: 5 Stars
Ok, let me first start by saying I have owned 20+ set's of headphones or earphones over the last 10 years. I listen 4+ hours a day to them so I have a little more than average experience with this stuff. These Zune earphones are by far the most bang for your buck. I hate the cheap bass sound that most earphones put out and these are not like that. The sound is rich and pure. I have owned Bose, Sure, Sony, Denon and by far these are my favorite. I had the version 1 earphones and they quit working after 6 months (my fault from rough use) and I upgraded to these. It was worth the $39.00 I paid for them. I returned the Denon earphones the day that I purchased these. Save your time on the reasearch and just purchase these.
Customer Review: Truly, a good buy. Summary: 5 Stars
I recently bought these headphones and was quite satisfied with the product out of the (tough to open) box. Before buying, however I came to this review page and read almost all of the reviews here.
I believe that true audiophiles will find the faint rubbing noise that is transmitted up the cord and into the headphones a bit annoying. It is audible when listening to music, like a faint thunder in the background. However, being an average listener, i found the headphones fantastic and was satisfied with the design features: the magnetic ear buds, the tangle resistant cable, the magnetic closure on the pouch and the pink elastic thingy I use to wrap up the cable when not in use.
