Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Zune Car PackCustomer Review: The trick Summary: 5 Stars
It's a pain at first until you figure it out.
The pad is awesome it's a bonus I didn't even know it was there like the last guy said holds zune in place.
The Trick:
I find the best way to get it to work is find 3 stations with static. ex: stations 106.3 106.5 106.7 --
Turn the radio to 106.5 then turn it off.
Change the zune station to the 106.5
Turn the radio on and you will get crystal sound from the radio.
* You may have to turn the volume up higher then normal
I live in a large city I rarely have an issue - I still don't get the auto find doesn't work for me.
Customer Review: The real deal Summary: 5 Stars
Bought it for my dad for Father's Day. Had no problems, took it to the car, plugged it in, found a couple blank stations, some worked better than others. Using it between a 2007 Honda Accord (no tape player or audio jack) and a 2nd gen 4GB Zune from about 2008. Display has good contrast, navigation of stations is easy.
I was not surprised by how it worked. This is the original Zune product, so it should work exactly as described, which it did. Great price.
The so called dash mount or whatever is worthless. It was just a non-slide pad. We just stick the Zune with hookups down in the console, and it works great.
Customer Review: great product! Summary: 5 Stars
I was a little apprehensive when I read some of the reviews of this product. However upon getting the product i was very pleased. I originally wanted to buy the product to charge the phone and i got a fm radio transmitter as well. this to me is everything and more than i wanted and i love the transmitter it works so much better than the tape converter which always had poor quality in my car. the only thing id say about the sound quality is that you have to find a good radio station, not always hard but if you go on a road trip it can be a little bit of a hassle... over all i would definitely recommend this to someone using a zune :D
Customer Review: Excellent Zune transmitter Summary: 5 Stars
Despite the reviews this transmitter has received, I went ahead with it anyway. It's worked great for me, with no problems! I was able to plug it in and it worked right away. I used the same frequency that I was using for an older transmitter I had (89.5 in busy, urban Philadelphia).
There are a couple of nice features not evident from the photos or description. First, volume control on the Zune is disabled, so all volume control is through your radio. The other is that the frequency control box (the rectangular thing in the photos) magnetically attaches to the power plug, so you don't have two parts lying around.
Customer Review: Zune Car Pack v2 Working Great For Me Summary: 5 Stars
The Zune Car Pack v2 is working great for me. I just followed the instructions and it works fine. The build is good with some nice touches: the square transmitter/display connects to the round part via magnet. The glowing Zune logo is nice as well (even though it gets covered up when you connect the transmitter.
The first station the Car Pack found worked fine @ home but got a little static/interference as I neared work. The 2nd station was the other way around. The 3rd station is clear all the way on my commute.
The sound quality is excellent, the build is superior, and it works great. I am glad I bought it.
