Just received this in the mail today and tried it out. The sound quality was very good. Still a little interference, but less than any of the other FM transmitters I've owned over the years for MP3 players.
A surprising bonus---My 01' BMW radio displays Radio Data Service (RDS) text and get this...when you play Zune over this FM transmitter it also transmits the text from your ID3 tag via RDS. So any song I play on the Zune will scroll the song info over the BMW radio exactly as all other FM radio stations do. Wow. I have to say that is pretty cool, and I was not expecting that feature. I very highly recommend this product for anyone that owns a Zune and doesn't have an aux input in their car.

At first i bought a Monster fm transmitter for around 50 dollars, which turned out to be a dud. Not wanting to shell out another $50+ i decided to roll the dice with this transmitter and was pleasantly suprised. Upon opening the package i found that it came with a "sticky pad" which holds my zune firmly to the dashboard so i know it wont go flying out of the window when i go on the freeway. At first i couldn't find a clear station to broadcast music but with the auto scan feature, it found the best station for me and it has worked perfectly ever since. After reading several reviews, I was a bit sceptical in purchasing this item. But my doubt was short lived.
I am not sure how outdated the previous reviews are, but I've had none of the issues they mentioned while using this product, .
Prior reviews talked about having to scan the radio stations first. I did not have to, nor do I when using another vehicle. I am also able to manually select any preset of my choosing. (Just make sure the radio station matches the Zune Car Pack station)
Now I don't know if mine is just a fluke, or if having xm satellite radio installed makes any difference, but I am very impressed with how the Zune Car Pack v2 works for me.

I received this as a Christmas present with my Zune 80 gb 2nd generation. I love it and it was/is very easy to use. I just plugged it in, tuned it in, and selected what I wanted to hear on my Zune. I was surprised (and so was my boyfriend) at how clear it was. And I love the Zune pad! I have a "luxury" vehicle and I am not drilling holes in my console to mount a holder. And the way my car is designed, there is not any flat places for my device. NOT a problem with the Zune pad! My Zune sits at about a 25-30 degree angle and doesn't move.. even with my crazy driving. I recommend you buy it, you can always just send it back if you don't like it.

I ordered this because it was super discounted. It turns out it was the last generation of this product. However, it still works totally fine with my 32GB Zune HD. I like that it is Zune brand. It does exactly what I want it to do.
One thing that took me a bit to figure out was that you do not want to manually seek for an available radio station. Just hold the arrow on the project down until it enters seek mode, and let it do the searching. There are only a few really clear (i.e. not used) frequencies in a given metropolitan area (I am in Seattle), so just let it search for you.
Anyway, I highly recommend this product for the price.
