This item cannot be shown with words to how much of a life saver it is. I work as a web programmer and occastional need to traverse through office. with my passport it is not a problem.
pros- lightweight making it easier to carry around very big documents
-size is well enough for it to be slipped into a pocket and to be carried around.
-no need for a power cord just plug and play USB 2.0 only no external power source needed.
-lots of space for the people who have big libraries of music photos or other things.
-the free google desktop software is a nice add in aswell.
cons- the device is easily scratched and shiny so I suggest buying a case for it if your always on the go
- the formatting takes up a big chunk of data and leaves you with way less then expected for example I have the 250gb one. when I opened it I found out that the device actually only has about 232 because of space taken up for formatting and other internal appilcations. This is common among many devices so don't worry. you still have space for everything you wanted and more.
- the presigned software in the device isn't thought out so well and is very furstrating I suggest skipping it because I had the hardest time with it and I'm a programmer!
In summary I love this gadget and it is a welcome addition to any techies aresenal.
