As indicated in the title, this is the second 500 g My Book that I've purchased. No issues as yet (purchased the first one about 6 months ago). Seems a bit slow when transferring data, but I am OK with that. Quiet operation. An On/Off switch would be nice, but oh, well...Customer Review: Great External Hard Drive

Product worked as advertised. No complaints at all. Hard drive is smaller than expected, is quiet, and does not get overly warm. Hard drive turns on and off with PC, which I think is a nice touch. El producto es perfecto la velocidad es rapidisima de transferencia de datos 3 veces mas que un pendrive. para no ser extraible el tamaño no es tan grande lo unico que le quita puntos es que se conecta a un alimentador de corriente y no directo del usb.Customer Review: Does what I expected, at a good price.

It's a product that does what it is supposed to do, with NO glitches. I copied over 290 GB of MP3's in about six hours, and am enjoying them now. 62,000 songs, all happily living in a plastic book shaped drive. Quiet, pretty, and smart. Like a good woman.Customer Review: Great!

MyBook was here within just days, it's definitely big enough for what I need it for. It's small enough to fit just about anywhere. The only downer is it needs an external power supply. But, for the size and price that's completely reasonable!
