Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Western Digital 160GB 2.5-inch Passport USB Portable Hard DriveCustomer Review: Great external hard drive Summary: 5 Stars
Great product, it has huge memory, so far I transferred everything from my laptop and it still has a lot of free space. It's very fast (although I only have a 1.1 USB port, so with a 2.0 it should be even faster). The sync software is not to die for... you will not see your documents with the explorer.. but other than that, it is a great memory device.
Customer Review: Just the perfect hard drive for you Summary: 5 Stars
This item is just perfect for my Toshiba A135, it stylish perfecly combine with my Dark Blue Laptop. The 160gb 5400rpm hard drive is above the average right now. You can fill it with all your documents, music and movies at the same time. Fit's perfectly in your pocket. The USB cable is just fine if you are using it with a laptop. Works full in Vista.
Customer Review: Great so far! Summary: 5 Stars
I have had no problems with this hard drive so far. I bought it 2 months ago because i needed to back up my photography and also move some of my music that was taking up too much memory. its surprisingly small, not much bigger than an ipod and so much more portable and convenient than your average external hardrive! great value for money! thumbs up!
Customer Review: Exceeded Expectations Summary: 5 Stars
As a user of *many* 2.5" external USB drives, including some 7200rpm'ers, this badboy has delivered bigtime - in a small, elegant footprint. I primarily use it as a media drive for my new Vista machine. The first thing I did was reformat it to NTFS and it has performed like a champ from the get-go. I can't wait until the next size comes out!
Customer Review: Works with PS3 and Mac! Summary: 5 Stars
I use this WD USB 160GB Passport for my PS3 backups. Works great for what I use it for. I use my Mac (OS X) to format the USB drive as FAT32. And then use my PS3 to backup the music, photo and game data. Works great.
I also like the fact that it's USB powered and there's no need to hook up AC power. Just plug, backup and play.
