Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Wacom Cintiq 6D Art Pen - digitizer pen ( ZP-600 )Customer Review: Wacom 6D Art Pen Summary: 3 Stars
This is a good pen. It's lighter than the Grip pen. I didn't like that it doesn't have buttons like the other pens, which make it easier to change the "brushes" or their size, or use them just like a mouse. Its functions are great. It does everything it promises. It is a nice pen to work with, but I'm giving it a 3 star rating because it looks and feels very cheap. I think it is too expensive for something that looks and feels like a toy bought in a dollar store.
Customer Review: art pen Summary: 3 Stars
I really happy with the pen art 6D .and really make a different on the stroke painting lighther color than the regular pen . but to be honest the base is a garbage since the pen is too big and do not fit as it should be very frustrade it .it seen to me the base is not compatible. and is a sham for a very spence tool.
Customer Review: Only buy this for Painter Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this thinking that it sounded great, but what none of the product info tells you is that Photoshop doesn't really take advantage of the rotation like it should. There is no mechanism to keep a chisel shaped brush tip rotating at the same angle as the chisel shape of the pen. Seems almost pointless now. From what I have read, it works in Painter, just no luck for me.
Customer Review: 6D and Air Brush does not work on new Cintiq Summary: 1 Stars
I ordered a new Cintiq and 6D Art pen and Air Brush at the same time from Amazon in the spring of 2010. I got the Pens right away but it took a couple months for the Cintiq to be shipped. I could not get the 6D or Airbrush to work with the Cintiq. The pen that came with it worked fine. I searched the net and could find nothing to help me get the pens to work including reading help threads on the Wacom website. Well, I finally found out the problem today. The "old" 6D art pen (the ZP-600) and airbrush (ZP-400E) don't work with the "newest" version of Cintiq. I'm now stuck with over $[...] worth of worthless plastic.
Customer Review: Wrong pen for new Wacom tablet Summary: 1 Stars
I ordered this art pen with my new tablet and found it was the wrong one. If in doubt check with Wacom to find the right pen for your tablet.
