I waited a year to buy a tablet and WOW I am glad I did. This is the best thing since sliced bread. It takes some getting used to for me about an hour. I am a critic of everything but this is one toy I can work without. My hand gets crampt because I dont write alot but not as bad as a mouse cramps my hand. I work 6 to 10 hours a day in photoshop and now it is more enjoyable not using a mouse to draw. The hot keys help save time and the size lets me sit back with it on my lap and work. Comes with mouse for surfing web or other things when the pen is not needed. Textured surface feels like pencil on paper. Best Buy I made this year. don't wonder if it is right for you buy it if you draw on your pc or mac. As a gift for a younger person it is great too, It has drawing software included so for a young computer savy artist it is a dream. 1 2 3 star people need to just admit they dont know how to use it or just don't like tablets cause if you use a tablet you know this is perfect.
