Customer Review: Real flapping functional wings

I find the flapping wings that work intriguing. But I find it difficult to control. Directions say don't let it climb steeply because it may stall and fall. But it WANTS to climb steeply. Mine spends a lot of time going to the ground, so I have to pick it up to start it again.
It doesn't have enough space in my 20 ft by 12 foot living room with 8 ft high ceiling, and a hanging light in the middle of the ceiling. More height is required. I fly it out doors when the air is really calm.

I purchased this toy product for my 12 year old Grandson. He was not able to get it to fly for any length of time easily. It took some learning on how to make adjustments before we could see it fly with a bit of WowWee and that was outside the house on a calm day. This is an incredibly fun toy for those that enjoy flying things. there are 2 caveats:
1) need to have a large indoor space with minimal wind, like a school gym or auditorium.
2) the internal components break easily. Not the wings, not the body, but the MOTOR is fragile and made of cheap plastic.

First of all this toy is not a robot. It is a model bug that fly, there are no computers no nothing in this. That being said the toy is fun, it is a challenge to learn to fly it right, but allot of fun when you get it right, unfortunately it is very fragile. This toy is advertised as durable - however, the wings are very fragile and didn't hold up well - one wing ripped second time out. Also the charge lasts a very short time.
