I have been working out of a home office for nearly 10 years now, and needed a way to conveniently integrate a home phone line, and an office phone line. I have tried a number of 2 line phones in the past and they all either didn't work as advertised, or were missing a needed feature.
This phone is just what I needed...2 lines, speaker phone, headset capability, auto redial and the ability to conference! It works great! Sound clarity is very good on the hand set and the speaker, and the number storage quantity is more than I need. Buy this phone and you won't be disappointed!

Bought this to replace a RCA ViSYS two line phone I'd suffered with for a year. That phone had mediocre sound on the hand set and the speaker phone function was poor to start with and had gotten unusable.
This phone sounds great. Clear and loud on the handset, great speakerphone, and headset. It has a very solid feal and a good set of functions.
I was a little surprised to find there wasn't a dedicated voice mail key, so, I had to dedicate one of my 18 speed dial locations to that, but, other than that I'm very happy with this phone.

We have two phone lines because we run a business out of our home. This phone has turned out to be great for our needs and was very reasonably priced. It has caller ID, speaker phone, call history for both lines. We have it mounted on the wall, although it will sit on a desktop as well. I like being able to adjust the ring volume for either line so I can distinguish from the other room which line is ringing. That way, after hours, I don't have to jump up if I know it's the business line ringing. Good phone for the money. Very happy.Customer Review: Awesome 2-line corded phone

I purchased this AT&T 993 phone to be the main phone in our house. I am older with a hearing problem and cannot use phones with buttons on the handset. Hence there goes just about all cordless and cellular phones. Of all six different corded phones in our house, this one is definitely the clearest in terms of background noise. My hearings aids greatly amplify any noise on the line. It also seems to have pretty good clarity of the main voice. We do not use the speakerphone function very much, so I cannot rate that feature.Customer Review: Good Price - Good Quality

This product does everything advertised, and given the fact that it is a two-line phone, I consider it outstanding for the price. Note that it has a 2.5" jack directly on the phone, so you can actually use this phone in three modes - corded handset, speakerphone, or corded headset - a feature not available with some of the other competing products.
Also, the number buttons are big and easy to use, so it aids in dialing accurately and quickly.
A commercial grade product and a consumer price!
