Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of AT&T 1856 Corded Speakerphone with Digital Answering System (White)Customer Review: Great phone for the money Summary: 4 Stars
Love this phone. Clear sound. All the features I wanted -- nice clear speakerphone that is easy to access... easy to read and push buttons... and a decent size caller ID panel. Would have given it 5 stars if the ID panel had been backlit. Have to put a light on to read it. But the light is usually on anyway, so no biggie. Very good quality phone with very good quality sound. I recommend it.
Customer Review: works fine, some minor design rec's Summary: 4 Stars
The phone comes with the desired answering system and speaker phone. Both work fine. The playback button is small and cramped, with written features almost too small to read.
There are more features than I need, and to set the phone requires pulling out the manual.
Overall, I am satisfied and the features-for-the-price were superior to other brands researched.
Customer Review: pretty good spreaker phone Summary: 4 Stars
The speaker works great so does the embedded mic. It's really convenient to have those three direct dial keys on the left side of the key pad. Now all my family members can call mine cell without remember them at all. The only thing I think it needs to improve is the display brightness. I can't see it well if the surrounding light is not bright enough, especially during the night.
Customer Review: Good Phone for the price but some issues Summary: 4 Stars
For the price, this is a great phone. Two issues however,
1. the mic for the speakephone function is not very good, you need to be very close to it and speak loudly for it to work properly
2. the display screen is not backlighted so it can be difficult to see during daylight and you need a light on to read the display at night.
Customer Review: Telephone Review Summary: 4 Stars
Works as advertised. Installation was
easy. Documentation is good. Sound
quality is sufficient. The biggest
drawback is the relatively low contrast
LCD display (even if highest contrast
is selected). You have to look straight
at it to read it. I have seen better readable
LCD displays.
