I needed DVDs for my Sony DVD / VCR Burner that were 8x or slower. These are the only ones I could find anywhere, and they work perfectly. If you have a burner that requires a slower x-factor disc, these should certainly do the trick.Customer Review: DVD-R...hub printable

I burn hundreds of DVD's. Verbatim consistently has the least number of faulty disks, maybe 1-2 in a hundred (compared to 4-5 per hundred with lesser brands). It is worth spending a little more for the quality.
