Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Verbatim 95166 8.5 GB 2.4x-6x Double Layer Recordable Disc DVD+R DL, 10-Disc Spindle

Customer Review: Perfect for Sony DW-Q58A DVD Drive
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop with Sony DW-Q58A DVD Drive.
I've tried to burn dual layer DVD of several brands, types, etc. and I always got errors, spent weeks testing different media.
Until I bought these Verbatin 2.4x DL DVD and they worked perfect for my DVD drive.

Customer Review: Dual Layer discs are great for transferring tapes
Summary: 5 Stars

The dual layer dvd disc is great for recording longer-running shows at highest quality; also great for transferring family tapes. These discs are working very well for us. I have no complaints using them on my Panasonic DVD recorder and will buy more as I need them.

Customer Review: Excellent Product!
Summary: 5 Stars

Burns perfectly on my AOpen DVD writer. I discovered it too late after I had already wasted my money on Memorex DVD's. I will stick with this brand and hopefully the price will eventually come down. Well worth the investment, though. Saves you a lot of trouble.

Customer Review: Burn, baby burn!
Summary: 5 Stars

These discs are fantastic. I just purchased a 16X DL burner and I've had such great luck with the standard Verbatim+R, I went for the DL disks.

My first burn was fast and flawless at 8.5GB.

You can't go wrong here!

Customer Review: So far so good
Summary: 5 Stars

I am burning these on a BenQ DW1640 drive, which supposedly is the only drive tested to date with no errors. So it goes without saying that I haven't had any problems with these disks.

Are they archival quality? Does anyone know?
