I don't go through a lot of CDs, but so far, I've burned maybe 20 or so, and I've not had a single failure. I use CDs mostly to make copies of mp3s of my own choral compositions (done in Finale) to help my singers learn their parts easier. Playback has been perfect on each disk -- at least, my singers have had no complaints at all.
Someone else mentioned the amount of surface space available for adding label info on the disk -- this has been really helpful for me. On many brands, the brand logo and extras are printed in multiple colors (or black) on the surface, and take up a huge amount of real estate. The printed Verbatim logo/etc. on this disk is silver on silver -- relatively plain -- so you can write all over it easily. And I do.
Amazon's price is very good, too. Good product, good price, serves a specific purpose -- for casual use, I'd say these are an excellent choice.
