I've used Verbatim writable CDs in the past and found them to be a stable
and consistent product. The ones I purchased recently were no exception.
Excellent, stable and consistent CD-R that is also very easy to label with
a permanent "sharpie" marker. Highly recommended and great value.

I order Verbatim media because of the reliability for archiving. I have never received a package where some of the disks are bad.. unlike some other brands. The best quality CD-Rs are fuji-film and Verbatim. The verbatim 100 pack with free shipping is currently the best deal on the best media. They will play correctly on all players.
Tip: Burn at 8X for fewer rejects. 8X is almost as fast as "maximum speed" on most CD burners.

Have used these for various things, including both data and audio, and rarely have a problem. Problems I have had have likely been as much the fault of my burner as anything.
If you're somebody who uses CD-Rs a lot, this is a good deal. Great for music people.

We use these in the PC shop where I'm a technician and I also order them here for myself. I haven't once ran across a burner that wouldn't write or read these. Get version 7 of Nero (Version 8 bites...)and you'll have what you need to burn to your hearts delight!
