If you are making backups or copies and are looking for the most reliable "Blank: DVD to copy or record to this is it. There are slightly cheaper discs but you will make coasters out of enough of them that these will more than pay for themselves.
If you research these you will also fine that they are the most trusted Dual Layer discs on the market and that many many industry experts rely on these discs for archival and industry use.

I saw that review claiming Verbatim aren't reliable any more because some are made in India now - BS.
I just checked my old cake box and it was made in India, but had no coasters.
Regardless, I recently ordered another and got the Singapore manufacturer this time and so far so good.
No matter which you get India or Singapore you're gold!
Verbatim is still the best way to "BACK UP" your Xbox 360 games.

I've used a number of brands of blank media, and I've definitely had more problems with other brands than i have had with verbatim. I never seem to get coasters from these discs, compared to having had at least 1/5 of my discs from other brands turn out to be useless. One thing though: I burn at pretty low speeds (like x2 or x4) just to be careful, so I can't really say how they work at v. high speed burning, but they've been great for me.Customer Review: Hard to find Media

The verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5GB 2.4x 20 Pk Spindle of discs have been able to let me continue to create DVD discs with my computer which is a Media Computer. I have had problems in locating this speed disc from other sources than Amazon. I find a complete line of quality products and where I have trouble locating them, I find Amazon usually comes through with their own stock or others that they have represented on their Web Site.Customer Review: Worked great for me

I've used Verbatim CD-Rs in the past but this is my first use of any burnable DVDs and I must say so far so good. I bought these DVDs to back up my music and picture collection and although there are a few bad reviews on here for these I went with them because I've had great success with Verbatim media in the past. This time was no different. I was able to burn multiple DVDs with no issues whatsoever. Not a single coaster.
