Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Verbatim 95102 4.7 GB up to 16x Branded Recordable Disc DVD-R (100-Disc Spindle)Customer Review: Archival quality for a good price Summary: 5 Stars
I want the DVDs I'm making to last to as close to forever as possible, so I did a lot of research before deciding what DVDs to buy. Verbatim came out as #1 for durability. I chose the DVD-R format for maximum compatibility with various devices. And I've only had a few errors after burning about 75 DVDs.
Amazon's sale price for these was great. If you're just looking for short-term backup media, I'm sure you can find cheaper, but these are a different class of DVDs.
Customer Review: Simply wouldn't use anything else Summary: 5 Stars
I just finished my 100 stack of Verbatim DVD-R's COASTER FREE! NOT ONE BAD ONE! I had to re-burn all 25 DVD's that I put on Ritek RiData, (sometimes $10/25 ain't that great'a deal the blue and white ones anyway, because they simply would NOT play in any of my DVD players. But these rock! And they're always a fair price for the great quality too! what a bonus! :)
HIGHLY recommended by me as a constant user of these in particular.
Customer Review: Great Product...Great Price Summary: 5 Stars
These may well be the finest discs I have fouind to date. I have yet to find a faulty disc after making my way through 300 total. while this may not be conclusive scientific results, it is impressive. I would recommend them to anyone.Verbatim 95102 4.7 GB 16X 120 Minute Single-Sided DVD-R, 100-Disc Spindle with Reinforced Packaging to Minimize Breakage
Customer Review: This is the good stuff Summary: 5 Stars
For anyone wondering, the Manufacturer ID on these discs is MCC 03RG20. The MCC is Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation and MCC is some of the absolute best media out there. I've had 2 50 count cakestacks of media with this MID and I didn't have a single coaster. This was on 2 NEC Optiarc drives, one which I don't remember, and the other being the AD-7241S. Verbatim makes some of the best writable media available, from Mitsubishi.
Customer Review: Best quality disks Summary: 5 Stars
I buy these disks because Verbatim makes the best quality disks that I can find. I haven't come across a bad disk, and everything that I've burned has been successfully read without a hitch. I've run into issues with other cheaper disks, where the copy I burned was not completely readable in some of my devices. After reburning onto these disks, anything will read them. To me, it's worth paying a little extra for good quality DVD's!
