I use the Verbatim DVD-R's to back up my AVI files, computer data of all kinds and any other types of backup I might need. I have gone thru 5 packages so far and have NEVER had a bad discs or any write errors. I now skip the 'verify data' step as they always work for me. I use an El Cheapo Compaq running Windows 7 with a basic DVD RW drive. Nary a glitch and discs can be read in all my different media players so far. I wouldn't even bother with any other brand. These cost a bit more, but it is worth it in the lack of frustration.Customer Review: The Best On "This" Planet !

Seldom does a product come along that requires my input, in fact this is my first review ever. That being said, here is my honest opinion of these dvd+r's.
I have read many reviews by others stating that these discs defy "coasterville" and after trying a spindle, i will agree. I now buy only Verbatim discs no matter what i'm backing up or storing. As far as i'm concerned i will never use any other product of this type unless it says Verbatim.
Unless anyone or anything can prove me wrong, and it's going to take alot.

I use various types of DVD-R and CD-R for my small business. I've never really been a loyal consumer to one particular brand. This would also be my first purchase in bulk over the internet. I have to say, this is the way to go when purchasing recordable media!! Although I've not made to the end of the spindle, I've yet to come across a dude. The quality, and price can't be beat. Amazon always seems to have what I need, for the price I'm willing to pay. I highly recommend this product!Customer Review: Excellence!

I have ALWAYS been pleased with Verbatim's products. Others have a few bad disks and recommend the use of other DVD+R disks. Well I went through the effort to try them out. Of the other companies I have used and tested, which were: Memorex, Sony, Fuji, TDK, Maxell, and Dynex, I found Verbatim to give me less "coasters" and more effective copies of DVDs, Data Disks, and Photo Video DVDs than any other brand.
These are must haves for anyone who makes of the DVD+R products.

To the best of my knowledge, the Verbatim DVD-Rs are the best on the market. I have used well over 100 so far and have had only one that was defective, which is in marked contrast to other brands I used before finding Verbatim. The small amount you pay extra for them is well worth it when you realize that they are actually cheaper per disc that works, your backups won't be stopped mid-stride by a faulty disc, and that your data integrity on their discs is near-guaranteed.
