I bought a pair when I first received my i-pod because the earbuds that came with it hurt. I saved for them and paid over 100.00. I was so happy with them and told my young adult children about them and yet they didn't believe me. 5 years later they still could not find a good sounding, comfortable, and stay in place ear buds and asked for a pair of mine for Christmas. Kids...sometimes they don't know it all!
The construction of these earbuds are so much better than before. And you can't beat the sound. They are equal to or better than Sony or Bose earbud. Best of all they are comfortable to the ear and stay put! I do a lot of bike riding and they never fall out. A great buy.

I have owned these headphones for about 2 years now. The sound quality is excellent and the ear buds are very light. They create an excellent seal to keep out external noise. They fit so well in my ears that when I dropped my MP3 player the earphones didn't come out of my ears and the player was saved from an impact with the ground.
I did have to return the headphones to the manufacturer under warranty once because of audio cutting out when the plug was moved. The return process (from their website) was easy and quick. Turnaround time for a replacement set of headphones was less than 10 days including the delivery both ways. I couldn't have been happier.

These headphones are quite nice, quite nice indeed. First off, their appearance is great. They're so spiffy! Secondly, the produce a clear sound, allowing you to listen to your music in a whole new way. And thirdly, they block out any outside noise that may be trying to ruin your music session.
If you're not a serious music listener, however, I wouldn't recommend these bad boys for you. They're a bit expensive, but deliver a solid performance. And also, if you become disappointed that they break, you must realize that nothing lasts forever. Sorry to burst your bubble.
But yay for V-MODA! Great products.

I've used these earphones for 2+ years and have to say they are the best I've ever had. I bought several as gifts because I was so impressed. The quality of sound is incredible. Just as with any quality equipment, proper care will assure that they will always perform well. That's why I use the VModa earbud holder and case whenever I pack them in my bag for travel. The wires will stay intact and tangle free. A good product that I recommend to anyone. For those who are experiencing problems with the wires, follow the manufacturer's instructions about care and you will not be disappointed!Customer Review: Best Earbud under $100.00 dollars

I own a pair of Klipsch Custom 3's and a pair of Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pro's as well as the Ultimate Ears Super.Fi Pro EB's. The above earbuds each retail for between $200.00 and $300.00 dollars...... guess what? The V-Moda Vibes are the earbuds I use most. Don't get me wrong I love all my earbuds. But each earbud is like owning specialty earbuds for the type of music you are listening too, classical, rock, jazz, folk, soul... you get the idea. If you LOVE TIGHT ACCURATE BASS, without loosing the mid and highs, you can't beat the V-Moda Vibe.
