Customer Review: Great for iPhone 2G and 3G ... not for 3GS

These earbuds a great for the iPhone. They are the best sounding, most comfortable earbuds I have used. I cannot rave enough about the quality of the sound that these provide.
However, I upgraded to the iPhone 3GS, and admit that there are problems with the new phone. The hardware changes in the 3GS render the button on the microphone inoperable, and my iPhone sometimes changes volume rapidly, as if it is detecting it as two different earbuds.
V-Moda support quickly addressed my concerns (within 10 minutes!) and informed me that they are aware of the issues and are working toward an updated product. Nevertheless, these are a great option for other iPhone models.

When I saw these headphones I thought they were a very stylish headphone and was excited to replace the default iPhone headphones that never stay in my ear. When I put them on for the first time I was amazed at the sound quality especially the bass reproduction. They simply sound awesome! The handfree functionality is great too. You can answer calls with the button near the microphone. Sound quality is good, and the other person can hear me clearly. When in ipod mode, songs can be paused with a button press, but what I found that was really neat was that "double clicking" the button it skipped to the next song. this was probably without doubt was gona be my favorite products ever till it broke down on me recently!!? although i really loved the material of the wire and the quality of the sound, I wasn't quite 100% satisfied with how others describe the quality of my end of the conversation. there have been comments on it picking up static and some some sort of interference. then recently I noticed that the wire is not sending the sound on BOTH the earbuds..!!? its like the bras interior wasnt correctly connected anymore. practically my headset is suffering from internal bleading and there is nothing I can do about it.Customer Review: fantastic headset!!!

the new design has eliminated the earlier quality problems. these headsets sound wonderful!! I've had mine for about 6 months and they have held up quite well. I use them every day for listening to music while running, as well as for general phone use. I'm careful with them, but not overly. the most important thing is that they sound incredible and the mic works quite well. I have a great sound system in my car, and I'd rather listen to my music with this headset! at any volume level, these outperform anything else I've tried. I doubt you will find anything better for the money.Customer Review: They are the TOPS!

I have owned these headphones for almost a year now and have been very happy with their performance. Recently I did have a problem with them and had to contact V-moda for warranty service. This is where the really good part comes in....
It was very easy to work with these folks; they were polite, prompt and very fast at replacing my headphones with no questions asked. And the entire process from door to door only took about a week!
All products can have an issue- but its the service that separates the great products form the rest of the fray....
