This is the first review I've ever written for anything and this product warrants me taking a few minutes to do so. These earphones are without a doubt the best I've ever had and let me tell you, I've gone through so many head/ear phones that I'm an unqualified expert. I bought these the same day as I bought my iPhone because I knew that the apple ones would be sub par sound, would fall out of my ear and would go to crap as soon as I cranked the volume up for the first time.
The V-Modas will change how you listen to music, my jazz music sounds so much fuller, the bass is rich and carries songs on all types of music and the highs sound natural as opposed to that tin can sound.
If I had any complaint it would be that the mic may be too sensitive, it seems as though when I'm having a conversation that my fiancée can hear all the conversations going on around me as well. Still, awesome product.

Until recently I had been using whatever earbuds came with my iPod, iPhone, etc. I was getting sick of the iPhone earbuds coming apart so I decided to spring for a nice set of these V-Modas. At first listen I was blown away. The sound I had been missing all this time just slapped me in the face. They sound awesome, the bass is great and the highs are crystal clear. I cannot recommend them enough for sound quality. I have owned them for a year and decided to buy some more as gifts they are so amazing. When I started searching Amazon for more, I noticed some reviews about build quality. I can say unequivocally that these are top of the line in the sturdiness department. Mine have held up perfectly throughout my s***storm of a life for the past year.
I highly recommend this product, especially if you are sick of the ubiquitous white earbuds. White is the color of sheep, after all.

These are the headphones iphone users have been waiting for. They have the great sound everyone raves about from previous models coupled with a button to allow call answering and pausing of Ipod music just as you would use the apple white headphones the iphone came with. They are not perfect; the button really is small and not easy to use. In addition, the material the cord is made out of worries me as far as durability although it looks great. The microphone is good and the sound when talking on a call is superb. Perhaps most impressive about theses headphones is how nice they fit and how well they stay in your ear without hurting. I have tried all of the iphone EQ settings and I think "trebble booster" works best with these headphones. The case they come with is nice as well. All in all these headphones do what they say an although a tad pricey are probably worth the investment.Customer Review: Mine survived a ride in the laundry

So I've had these headphones for about 1 year now... I love them... sound is amazing. But the reason I came to write this review is because yesterday I pulled my headset out of my LAUNDRY DRYER... yeah, I had left them in my pocket and they had gone for a ride in the washer and dryer! Well I was super disappointed, I was sure I had destroyed them. But I figured I'd leave them out overnight and make sure they're good and dry. After plugging them in today, I was amazed to see they still WORK! The sound remains fantastic. Furthermore, they're really clean now... not that I would recommend this to anyone else! :D
Anyways, I wouldn't have bothered with the review, but this amazed me...the high-quality, all-metal construction really payed off. I'm surprised to see several reviews here complaining about build quality, but there's my experience, mine are bullet proof.

I hated the earphones that came with Apple products. The guy at the Apple Store handed me these slim, pricey earbuds and swore they were great. I'd never heard of V-Moda before. Nevertheless, I was so sick of the clumsy, ill-fitting ipod earphones that I decided to take the risk. And now, after a year and a half I can definitely say this is my greatest bargain ever. They're perfect! The sound quality is much better than Sennheiser and Denon earbuds which I've been using on and off. I can literaly "hear" and "feel" the music in my head and everything else gets left out. The only downside is the phone talk button, which broke into two after about 9 months of rough use. I took it to a repair shop, they did some soldering and now my V-Moda earbuds work perfectly well again, making my days, especially in crowded and noisy places.
