Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of V-MODA Bass Freq In-Ear Stereo Headphone (Bling Bling Black)Customer Review: V-MODA Bass Freq, best EVER ear buds Summary: 5 Stars
I got my bass freq on from pepsi's old reward program ( I miss it dearly ) and boy was I ever glad I spent all those points on these beauts! Not only are they amazingly high quality sounding, but the noise reduction properties far surpass the big "over the ear" style noise canceling headphones I've had in the past. I spent like 60 bucks on a pair of over ear sony noise canceling headphones, and if I'd have known these existed I'd have saved money and got these. They virtually work like ear plugs that have speakers in them... and these speakers sound great so close up. Killer bass, and low-mids sound just as great. I used to have to listen to the mp3 player's volume maxed out but now I can use half of that and hear the music over everything else. They come with three different sleeves to adjust to the contours of any ear, and they are a steal at the current price considering original retail price (was like 55 bucks a while back). Get these headphones over skullcandy or any other brand, they are amazing and you'll never need another pair of headphones again. They sound better than more expensive over the ear phones quality-wise even if you arent buying them for the noise blocking ability. seriously, the bass is the best i've ever heard in any of the headphones I've checked out (when i bought my last over-the-ear, i sampled dozens before settling).
Customer Review: Excellent Product Summary: 5 Stars
I love good high fidelity/stereo sound. I have not had success with in-ear devices because they either were uncomfortable or the sound was not good. While I do not mind dishing out a lot of money for Studio quality headphones, they are not practical for my portible devices. I wanted good quality, earphones without looking like I was wearing dental head gear or getting ready to embark on a space mission. I went to c/net to review ratings on this product. I am not disappointed. I found the buds to be comfortable when I inserted them in my ears. (They are effective at blocking noise out...I could not hear my desk phone; yet the music was not overly loud) The best thing I have to report to you is the quality of sound. I ran them through the paces: Earth Wind and Fire; Level 42;Led Zepplin; Lyle Mayes; Andrea Bocelli and finally an old Dusty Springfield Classic, "the look of love." In all cases you could hear every tone, I listened for the clarity of the phonemes in Dusty Springfield's singing...amazingly clear! What is amazing is I am not using them with a dedicated MP3 player. Right now, all my music is on my HP2755 PDA with Pocket Player Software. I have a Creative Labs Zen Vision M on order. (From Walmart-big mistake, they are taking forever to deliver it) Anyway, I cannot wait to combine these with the Zen. You can't do better for the money.
Customer Review: outstanding value and sound - excellent on the plane Summary: 5 Stars
I use my iPod all the time when travelling and the iPod earbuds that come with the iPod is barely sufficient in terms of loudness and blocking out sound in a plane. Also it doesn't fit well in my ears which is pain when I go running.
I originally was planning getting a pair of high end earbuds (such as Shure), but with these times I couldn't justify paying over $70 for earbuds.
This V Moda earphones fits in your ears perfectly and doesn't fall out in any condition. It comes with three sets of silicone ear plugs of differenct sizes which means it fits snugly and comfortably in any ear. The silicone buds also does an excellent job in blocking outside noise. I could now hear music and movies perfectly with greatly improved clarity and and crispness - it masks the loud white noise of the plane very nicely which I really like.
The matching silicone cord management bar is a nice plus and very handy.
The styling is nothing special, but at least it's not gaudy or too flashy (I got the white ones to match my iPod).
For less than $30 and almost the price of a iPod earbud (when purchased separately), this is an outstanding earbud for the money and I highly suggest to everyone to replace their original iPod earbuds with these, you will not be disappointed!
Customer Review: Best Bang for your Buck (under $100) Summary: 5 Stars
I have been through a ton of headphones in my life. Either I wear them out through tough use or I tend to be uber-critical of the sound and throw out or return a good amount of headphones.
I have headphones for home use (which I specifically use for Jazz and other remastered and higher audio quality electronic files). I bought V-Moda headphones specifically for gym and subway use. I was hoping to find a set of headphones that were both noise isolating and heavy in bass. This is of course knowing that I am listening to MP3 file types through them. These headphones blew away both of those expectations. For they money (which is thoroughly cheaper online than in-store, there is nothing comparable. These headphones have clear, crisp and surprisingly heavy Bass which does not overpower or diminish the highs. Don't think that these headphones are only for hip hop and techno. They sound great terrific with all sorts of music from Bob Dylan to John Coltrane to Band of Horses, etc. On top of the remarkable sound for it's price category (under $100) they are extremely comfortable. They are however, not so sturdily constructed so be careful and be sure to use the cord-wrapping device that is provided in the hard-to-open package.
I highly recommend these headphones.
Customer Review: The earbuds I keep coming back to Summary: 5 Stars
I love my iPod.
But I do NOT love the earbuds that came with it.
And I tend to be a bit rough on my earbuds. I've been known to accidentally slam them in the dishwasher door and the car door. I often fall asleep with one earbud in, and end up sleeping on top of it some time during the night. And I have a 3-year-old who regularly clamors to "listen, too!"
So I'm not interested in spending tons of money on earbuds that I might very well (accidentally) harm or destroy.
In my search for reasonably-priced, comfortable, in-ear earbuds, I stumbled across these V-MODA Bass Freq earbuds about a year ago.
Simply put, I love them. They're comfortable (with various sizes of plastic tips so you can find the right fit for your ear), sturdy (they put up with months of my sleeping on them and slamming them in doors), and offer very good sound quality.
I even had to buy my husband a pair after he tried mine and couldn't bring himself to go back to the standard pair that came with his iPod.
I've bought myself three pairs of these earbuds in the last year -- not because they're shoddily made, but because (as I mentioned) I'm a little rough on them. But I wouldn't switch to any other pair. These are perfect!
