The phones worked beyond my expectations. However, I found out that the Uniden Phone system is not compatiable with the Sprint (EMBARQ) phone system.The Uniden Phone worked for a short time perfectly. Then the the phone system totally shut down. I have tried to contact Uniden via e-mail and they have not returned any messages as to how this problem could be eliminated. Also,several of my neighbors have returned their Uniden Phones to local retailers which I have not been able to because I purchased the phone at Amazon and they have not responded.Customer Review: Great phone with great features

I love this phone, and was disappointed to see Uniden had discontinued it. My base phone was lost during a move, but I was able to order a refurbished one and sync my existing handsets to so as not to lose any of my phone numbers. It has a great range--I can make calls from the street in front of my house--and the handsets make it easy to have extensions phones all over the house without needing new phone jacks. It also comes with an answering machine and a base speakerphone for when the handsets are not available (or have been misplaced).Customer Review: Terrific cordless phone system

Don't hesitate to buy this! I've been checking the market for over 2 years to find a replacement phone system to replace my 10+ year old one. This IS the one. Every feature works well up to expectations and then some. Good range from the base. Easy to use and well engineered. A very nice addition is the water proof accessory phone that is really built tough and solid. It will give you that one phone that you can take outside and not worry about getting wet. Check it out! This phone system does everything that you could ask of it. The speaker phone works great on the base and the expansion handsets. Transferring saved numbers throughout the system is easy. The intercom feature is simple to use. You can check phone messages from any handset and a flashing light on each handset tells you that you have a new message. It is well worth the price.
We also ordered the waterproof expansion handset for the workshop. In case dust gets in the keys, you can just rinse it off.

Phones have great range, good sound quality, variable volume, excellent speakerphone. Easy to set up and use. Clear instructions. They do not interfere with my wireless network, and the displays are easy to read.
Being able to check messages from the handset is a real plus, and only one phone jack is tied up with the base station. Eliminated my separate wireless phone/answering machine combo that I hated.
Well Worth the price
