Customer Review: The best cordless phone I've ever owned

I've had 'em all. The first cordless phones, 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz now the Uniden 5.8 GHz. This phone beats the rest hands down.
The features you get for the money are amazing.
* Room-to-Room Intercom
* Address Book that's actually usable (doesn't require getting the manual out to program or use it)
* Distinctive rings for different lines or different incoming callers
* Easy, easy, easy set up (did I mention it was easy?)
* Nice key layout
* A menu button where everything you need to do is accessible
* You can label the handsets so you know which base they go back to. Not a big deal for some. But, for someone as anal as I am, I like it. Also, with the labels, we can use the intercom feature to call each other (assuming we have the right handset with us.)
Finally, home phones have caught up with cellular phones. I've wondered for years why I couldn't get the features I have on my cellular phone on my home phone. We've had this phone for a few weeks now and I couldn't be happier. We even went out and bought two more handsets for it. Which is REALLY nice because now we can put the extensions where we want them, not where the telephone jacks are.
We originally accidentally bought the one-line version of this phone which comes with (2) handsets for $60. That phone is a steal. They're also available at our local big-box warehouse store for next to nothing. The phones are so inexpensive, you might wonder about the quality. Well, I can't vouch for the durability yet. But, I can vouch for the design and for the fact that it's working great right now.
