Uniden makes a great phone. These phones work fine. The only negative I have found is that my cheek hits the mute button on occasion which makes it odd when you can't figure out why the person on the other end can't hear you.......
However, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this same phone again.

We already had a single Uniden DECT phone/answering system and liked it so much we purchased a second set that had extra handsets. We used one of the phones with our first phone and the other set was put in another house. This is a great phone with excellent sound and range. I bought this to upgrade from a Uniden 5.8 which was excellent but one of the handsets finally went out. Unfortunately I first bought a GE 5.8 which was the worse phone I have ever had. I am VERY happy with this phone!!Customer Review: Outstanding

Outstanding phone system...should have tossed those old ones years ago. Prefer a little more bass sound in answering machine voice tone (playback) but no big deal. Absolute clear reception...no buzz...static or other detractors. A great system in my two story home.
