I am very impressed and pleased with this product. It is perhaps the best telephone, with answering system, and additional phone I've ever purchased. It is extremely user friendly and its operation is not complicated. It is not difficult to set up. I only wish the extension/additional portable phone had a longer range. My house is not that big, perhaps 100 feet in length but the signal is so weak when I take the handheld phone to the other side of the house. If I can find a phone like this with a stronger/longer range I would have truly phoned the best of the best.Customer Review: happy daughters

We purchased this phone for our parents. So far, they really like it and Mom can hear quite well while using it. I have noticed at times when the portable is used, their voices can fade in and out briefly. That could be related to Dad moving around while speaking, but he wasn't far from the base. On a funny note, Christmas Day Dad accidentally pushed the red 911 button several times. The operator called them back and asked if they had gotten a new telephone for a gift. The placement of this button shouldn't be where your hand holds the portable.Customer Review: A very good phone

The minimal discount reflects the fact that this is a sought after phone, and in fact it has many advantages. The sound is relatively clear on the cordless phone and answering machine and the buttons are highly visible and easy to dial. We are not challenged in terms of either hearing or vision, but the phone is nonetheless facilitative and convenient. Be sure to reprogram the emergency button immediately, as it is keyed to 911. An inadvertant push on the button will get the police to your door.Customer Review: EZ Dial Phone

The phone is fine with the exception of the 911 button on the cordless phone set. I bought this for my parents and they have had to stop using it because they have called the police out by accident several times. The red 911 call button is located in a place where it is easily touched when trying to hold the phone to dial or listen. My parents local police told them to get another phone!!!!!
Otherwise all the other features work very well!

The ordering and receiving process was quick. The product operates as advertised. The electronic voice stating the caller's name is not really clear. The answering machine however is more clear when you create a message with your voice and the messages received are clear. There are many options. The remote cordless works well but occassionally has a hollow sound. I am satisfied overall but would have preferred a cordless main station.
