I wanted a corded phone to ensure access in case of a power outage, I wanted an answering machine so that I could get rid of the overpriced Voicemail package from the phone company, I wanted buttons I could see without my reading glasses AND I wanted a cordless phone. This product filled the bill. EVERYTHING in one package! The base also has a speakerphone for handsfree conversations. Only drawback is the color: white, which is difficult to keep clean, so unless you are fussy about smudges, this is the one!Customer Review: Cordless Phone with Corded Base

The product came quickly. It was easy hook-up and had a lot of extra features. The only thing that may be wrong with it is that the buttons on the cordless phone weren't quite large enough for my uncle. He is legally blind and had a corded phone with HUGH buttons. Maybe this is as big as a cordless phone buttons go. I don't know I didn't want to pay three hundred dollars!! I needed the cordless with the corded so I didn't have to move the jack. All in all it is a great product. I am very pleased.Customer Review: Great phone!

I needed a corded phone in the event of power failure, plus I wanted a phone in my bedroom but had no phone jack there. This phone works great for this; I have the corded phone in the living room and the cordless satellite phone in my bedroom. Nice big numbers and easy-to-read caller ID, plus the voice-announcing caller ID is great - I don't even have to get up to see who is calling, the phone says the caller's name!!! I would definitely recommend this phone, it's well worth the price.Customer Review: Great for elderly

Got this for my 80+ visually impaired Mom. She wanted a corded phone next to the bed (in case of power outages) and needs a cordless that she can keep near her chair in the living room where there is no phone jack. Her old cordless battery kept running out because she had no charger near the chair. She loves this phone. Though her eyesight is poor enough that she cannot read the display due to macular degeneration, she loves the large buttons and having the phone close by.Customer Review: My mom loves these phones

I bought these phones for my 70 year old mother. She has a difficult time with most of the newer, smaller phones; both in setting them up and using them. Although the 62-page user manual intimidated her a bit, she was able to set this phone system up herself. She loves it--the big buttons, the speaker phone, and the special emergency 911 button! The telephone companies need to know there's a whole market of older folks out there who need items like this.
