I helped my nearly 90-year old mom choose a phone to replace a similar one that had stopped working, and which had been discontinued. We checked all the alternatives, and found this to be the best. It arrived on time, and she managed to set it up without too much additional help. It works fine and she's very pleased to have both the cordless phone and corded base.

With subscription to local service, the phone is compatible with Call Waiting Caller ID, and will display the name, number and date and time of each call on the oversize, backlit LCD, and will store up to 50 names and numbers so you can return calls at the touch of a button.
