This is a great scanner. I love scanners and have several of them. This is a great scanner especialy if you want it in the bedroom. It has an alarm clock, am/fm radio, audio for tv channels 2 -13, and the sound clarity is great. This is a perfect scanner and the price is great. I BOUGHT THIS AS A GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND. IT WAS VERY EASY TO SET UP AND PROGRAM SINCE I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF SCANNERS. I GOT MY LOCAL CODES OFF THE INTERNET AND HAD IT UP AND GOING IN NO TIME. WORKS GREAT AND HE WAS VERY PLEASED WITH IT.Customer Review: Happy with purchase

Bought as a gift. He absolutly loves it, picks up radio stations and all local and even some not very local channels for fires, etc. Pretty much plugged it in and it works very idiot proof I think.Customer Review: great scanner

My daughter is very pleased with the scanner. She works for 911 dispatching. Where she just started her new job it's helped her to learn her job. She love all the functions there is on it.
