Customer Review: Great Radio Good Price
Summary: 5 Stars

I ordered this scanner to replace one that was over 10 years old.
Uniden is one of the worlds best bands for scanners, and this unit
is nothing short of that. It's compact and easy to use.
If your use to programing scanners you will have no issues with understanding how to get it up and running, For others not so skilled, Read all the instructions ! The issue in flipping bands, and flipping to program bands, as
well as flipping the high / low search bands, Might be confusing, But if you
read the instructions slowly you will see how one works, just apply that knollage
to all the scanners band scanning settings.
I had mine up in running in 30 mins, and fully loaded with all my local freq's

Most Freq's can be found online, listed by state here [...]

Customer Review: so far so good
Summary: 5 Stars

I had a Uniden handheld unit with lots of frequencies programmed in - seldom heard anything. I got this desktop unit and wow...all the difference in the World. Chatter all the time. Now I know what's going on in my locality. Police, school buses, transit buses, local airport, ambulances, gas and electric companies, streets departments, animal control, prisons, ham operators and of course the weather. And I still have lots of space for more frequencies.
I got it because I was jealous going to friends and neighbors and their scanners going off now and then, but this unit makes theirs look sick.

Customer Review: Can't Beat it for the money
Summary: 5 Stars

I live in a rural community where the towers for receiving are few and far between. After much research and speaking with emergency personel, I decided upon the Uniden 100-Channel Clock Radio Scanner. I was happy to see it also had a battery back-up. (Batteries not included) As a first time owner of a scanner I found it very easy to program and the instruction manual user friendly. With 100 channels I can't imagine ever using all of them. For the money I can't see how you can go wrong with this scanner.

Customer Review: More than I expected
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this scanner to replace and old one and I didn't realize what I was missing this has much more reception than the old one( which also was a bearcat). Easy to set-up since I was familiar with scanners. The only thing that doesn't work is the TV reception which I knew it wouldn't because of the switch to digital TV.
The price was also alot cheaper than I found at local stores. Would definitely recommend it.Uniden 100-Channel Clock Radio Scanner

Customer Review: Retired Firefighter
Summary: 5 Stars

As a retirement gift for my husband, his two daughters bought him a new scanner. His old Bearcat, which was at least 20 yrs. old finally gave up the ghost! He loves this new scanner. Although it is not the top of the line model, it does evertything that he was looking for a new scanner to do. It was easy to program and offers plenty of flexibility and storage. The TV mode is no longer of use due to the change over from analog to digital but that feature was not a deciding factor. Once a firefighter, always a firefighter!
