I was ready to purchase a similar adapter at Best Buy for over $30 before I came upon this one. All I really wanted to do was be able to transfer pictures & video from my cell phone to my computer. The included mini cd-rom seemed a bit glitchy; I couldn't get the software to properly install, but vista running on my computer automatically installed the drivers I needed to run the device anyways, so I didn't need it. After that it was easy to connect my cell to the computer and transfer the files. It doesn't have the quickest transfer rate, but for something that cost less than $7 including shipping (and received it within a few days) I certainly can't complain.
