My desktop computer is almost 5 years old and when I purchased an external drive to use for backup, I noticed that it took an extremely long time to complete the task for my desktop and laptop.
After some searching, I found the 6 port PCI USB card. The ad claimed that it would speed up processing. Well, I'm happy to say that it did and the installation was easy and getting it up and working was simple.
Full backups are now completed in a relatively short space of time. I highly recommend the product.
