Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of NABC UltraLast ULA100AAB AA Size General Purpose Battery - Alkaline - 1.5V DC General Purpose Battery-100 countCustomer Review: Good for the money Summary: 4 Stars
For alkaline batteries, they perform like any other out there. Alkalines don't work well in tech devices, they tend to drain fast, and these seem no different. At worst, I use these in flashlights and wireless mice. The mouse I use most (which is about 8 hours a day) will last about 3 months on these. My higher demanding devices (cameras, media players, etc) use NiMH or LiIon batteries, which are much better suited for those devices and are a much better value for them.
These 100 batteries cost about the same as 20 of the big name brand batteries of the same type. The DOA rate seems higher than the big name brand, but probably not by much and I still come out way ahead on value. In my last 100 pack, I had maybe 4 DOAs. I'm not sure of the rate on the big name brand batteries since I don't buy them in bulk.
I have not kept any of the DOAs to test their guarantee. I did not feel it was worth it.
Customer Review: Review of purchase of AA batterys Summary: 4 Stars
I was in the need of the AA batteries. At first, I was looking for a 6 or 10 pack but when I saw this ad and the price I took a chance. the cost made it a worth wild investment. One never knows where a AA battery goes and I have found out. Since purchasing the box of 100 batterys I have used 47 of these, not to replace themselves but to replace old other brands.
Customer Review: Quantity > Quality Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased these batteries to put in my nephews toys. Since he has plenty of toys, uses them all the time, and burns through lots of batteries, I needed lots of batteries at a cheap rate. These batteries fit the bill perfectly. The quality of the batteries may not be the best but they are very cost efficient
Customer Review: Not bad, but... Summary: 3 Stars
I bought 100 of these batteries a year ago. They have been fine for radios, remote controls and other undemanding gadgets. I don't know if it's the humidity or the nature of the batteries, but some have now started to leak. I've thrown away about 20 and have the same number left.
If these batteries suit your purposes, I would suggest buying a smaller pack and using them quickly, rather than hoarding a large number as I did.
Customer Review: You get what you pay for. Summary: 2 Stars
These batteries are cheap, in every sense of the word. It isn't about how many batteries you get for your dollar; it's about how long your CD player will run on a dollar's worth of batteries. And in this case, the short battery life cancels out the low price per battery.
