I bought this little marvel for my new iPod Classic 80GB... I saw this and tought it would be great for when I'm travelling, in the beach or out for some photoshoot... And I was right man!
I use this with some 2100 Ni-mh and It recharges my iPod without any problem and really fast... about 80% charge in a mere 15 minutes... and you can even charge while the iPod is working. I haven't got into how many charges can it make per a couple of AA's... but with the Ni-Mh's at least 4 or 5.
Let me do you a favor: do no hesitate, just buy it... is trully amazing (and let's face it... is pretty cheap ah?)

Their new chargers work with the iPhone 3G/S! The new chargers have an updated circuit that allows them to work with the later Apple products.
Amazing little device being that it can give a full charge using measly AA batteries.
Using Lithium AA batteries allows the charger to charge the iPhone 3GS to 100% (verified). Rechargeables (NiMH) will give about 60% charge. Regular alkalines will give about 20%. These observations are from personal experience and testing.

This is a great little workhorse. It is compact, light-weight, sturdy and uses "AA" batteries, which are easily replaceable. A great means of conserving the Touch's internal battery. My one caveat is that, if the battery level is low, you may get the "Charging is not supported by this accessory" screen on your Touch. Simply replace/recharge the batteries and it works like a wizard. On top of everything else, it includes a handy little flashlight which is surprisingly effective, considering it's size.Customer Review: I am Portable and can go ANYWHERE!

I recently took a trip around the world and did not want to depend on the electronic converters. I loaded up my iTouch with movies and music and purchased this charger - AA batteries can be purchased all around the world and I used this charger everywhere I went. Even on Easter Island I was able to watch Season I of LOST!
Highly recommended as it makes your music, video unit portable anywhere you go!

I wrote a review of the cell-phone turbo charger - I had issues, with the process, not the product. This item is great and it really does work. Recently I was on a long trip and used it to continue watching movies on my IPod Classic. The actual charger is the same for the cell phone and IPod. If you have one, you just need to order the adapter for the other. (IPod classic takes adapter TA202).
