Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Tripp Lite P570-006 6ft HDMI to mini-HDMI, Digital Audio - Video Cable, 6'Customer Review: Works well and very cheap Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this since if it didn't work I would be out very little money. The cable is actually much more solid than I thought it would be and it works great. I used it to connect my T2i camera to my flat screen and watching pictures and video saw no dropped frames, etc. Looking again at the reviews here it looks like there may well have been a quality control issue back in 2008 but it looks to me like they solved it or at least the last few of us got lucky. Either way, better than spending $50.
Customer Review: Cheap price, identical performance. Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased three of these for my new A/V system. I compared them to an older $30-$40 cable that I purchased at a retail outlet and there is NO DIFFERENCE in performance. The only difference is that these don't come in a big, obnoxious plastic container that takes a chainsaw to open. Considering you can buy a dozen of these at the same price as one "Monster Cable" HDMI and get the same performance, the choice becomes a no brainer.
Customer Review: Works fine for me Summary: 5 Stars
Really not sure what all the fuss is with the lower ratings on this cable. I used it to connect my Canon Vixia HG20 with my Panasonic plasma and it worked perfectly. Not really sure what else to say, other than don't pay more for HDMI cables than you have to. Even if it doesn't work, I'd say it's worth an $8 gamble to potentially save $30 or more on a more expensive cable that doesn't do anything this one can't do just as well.
Customer Review: works perfect Summary: 5 Stars
Got this for a Canon PowerShot SD780IS, and it works perfectly. Just to mention, the first couple of times I used it, I had difficulty pulling the cable back out of the camera, and it worried me that it shouldn't be so difficult. I have since found that I don't have to push the cable in until it is flush with the camera. If I just push it about half way in, it works fine and is easier to disconnect.
Customer Review: It just works. Summary: 5 Stars
It just works and it works great. I bought it for my Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Black) and it connects fine to my HDTV and the photos look STUNNING! The HD videos from my camera look good too, but the photos look STUNNING!
