Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Tripp Lite P570-006 6ft HDMI to mini-HDMI, Digital Audio - Video Cable, 6'Customer Review: Do Not Order From Antonline Summary: 5 Stars
This is not a review of the HDMI Cables. I am sure that the cables work fine.
Rather it is a review of one of Amazon's 3rd Party sellers. DO NOT BUY FROM ANTONLINE. I ordered this cable when the price was significantly lower. Antonline abruptly cancelled the order after a week without reason. When I e-mailed a complaint to Amazon asking why it was cancelled, Antonline replied that my credit card was no good and that they had tried to e-mail me earlier about the problem. I never got that e-mail and my 2 other orders from Amazon which I placed at the same time did got thru with my credit card without a hitch.
Antonline replied that I could re-order and provided a link to their product. Surprise, surprise, the price of the item was the higher price. Antonline just offered the item at a good price, then withdrew the item after the order, and placed the item back on Amazon at the higher price.
I am placing this feedback here because Amazon does not allow me to leave feedback directly with Antonline, because I did not technically complete an order with Antonline.
I have ordered the HMDI cable from another online vendor.
DO NOT USE ANTONLINE.
Customer Review: Excellent! Summary: 5 Stars
My family needed something like this for our Flip UltraHD camcorder to watch some of my brother's soccer games on our HDTV (and some other stuff as well) and this cable just recently came in the mail. I think the hardest part of setting everything up was taking the cable out of the well glued brown bag, all I had to do was open it up, take the plastic covers out of the cable end, plug one end into the UltraHD, the other on the HDMI port, change output to HDMI and BAM, full screen HD video on our TV. My dad was thoroughly impressed with the picture quality, as was I
I haven't run into any major problems, the only thing is, the second time I used it there was cackling in the sound. My dad gave me some old-school advice and told me to check everything was well connected, and that worked. The cable is long and thick, I don't think I'll have problems.
I was hesitant to buy a generic brand because of some of the negative reviews, but it worked just fine, give it a try
Customer Review: Why pay triple the price at a store when you can get comparable product here? Summary: 5 Stars
When I came home from Fry's, who wanted $30 for an HDMI cable, I logged on to Amazon to take a look. Saw this product and decided that for $8 (shipping included) I could definitely give it a shot. It was delivered within 2-3 business days and I put it to work right away. I plugged one end to our TV and the other end to the HD camcorder. No prompting was needed and the TV immediately recognized the camcorder and offered media playback options. Both the stills and videos were of high definition quality. My husband and I are very pleased with this product. I just wish that I had ordered one with a 20ft. cable so that it could run along the wall instead of me having to go up to the TV to command the camcorder.
Customer Review: Good quality plug-and-play cable Summary: 5 Stars
The cable was purchased for a Creative Labs Vado HD 4GB Pocket Video Camcorder 2nd Generation (Black Gloss) NEWEST MODEL. Having read the reviews I was leery of the cable quality. At the same time, for the price of the cable it was worth taking the chance.
Cable arrived on time and works just fine on my 27" 720p HDTV; it is straight plug-and-play. Since some reviewers mentioned image quality (e.g. graininess), I compared the tv image to the image on my laptop and found them to be of equal quality adjusting for the size difference of the screens.
Customer Review: Excellent Value No Problems Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this cable from Amazon because of the value price. The cable performs with no problems. I connected my Panasonic TM-700 video camera to a Vizio VF550M. The cable and TV support display of the 1080/60p video format perfectly. This is a higher quality picture than even blu-ray currently supports (28Mbps). The results on the 55" screen when viewing 1920x1080 video at 60 fps progressive are stunning. There is no need to spend more on a mini-HDMI cable for your camera. The smaller end of the cable has an oval-shaped grip and the larger end is rectangular. Cable is marked "E119932 AWM STYLE 20276 80degC 30V VW-1 HDMI 1.3 CABLE"
