Don't know much about these, was just told I needed digital optical cables. Read all the reviews about them and bought them with that information in mind. They have worked fine, but have nothing to compare them to. I was just glad not to have to pay for the name Monster that everyone was pushing one us for an exhorbitant amount in comparison. I received the product in a timely manner and it was super cheap compared to the ones in the store. Been using it for a ouple of weeks on my HD cable box and the sound is great. There is no signal transmition problems like missing sound or interferance. The connections are good enough that the cable wont fall out, but the connection is not as tight as most coaxial connections. Just be sure to have some slack in the lines.Customer Review: Inexpensive and works great

I bought three of these cables for my home system. Two connect the PS3 and cable box to my receiver. The other goes from the receiver to the 1080p TV. It all works great. Some people worry about cheap cables not working well, but I get great images at full 1080p using these cables. Maybe you need something more expensive for 12' cables, but these have been great for me and you simply can't beat the price.Customer Review: Has worked without problems for 2 years

I bought one of these optical cables 2 years ago and I've used it since without incident. Also, there's no noticeable difference between these cables and the "premium" cables you can find at retail electronics stores. Well, there's no difference besides the price. As a buyer, the only thing I'd be careful with is making sure you want a 6 foot cable. I need to eat my words on this review.. I stated earlier that it was Junk. Well after taking my head out of my you know what. I relizied that I did not take off the PLASTIC COVERS!!! The big dumby that I am. This product works great and would buy another from the the same company. Just remember when you do get it....TAKE THE PLASTIC COVERS OFF!!!! It works and fits alot better if you do.....
