What did I pay for this cable - $2 or $3? You always wonder if the cables you can buy cheaply on Amazon will work as well as what you would buy at Best Buy or even Wal-Mart for 5 times the price.
I no longer worry about that, as I am completely satisfied with the quality and performance of the cable. I'm not an audiophile, so maybe that makes a difference, but I will never buy another audio, HDMI, USB or other cable anywhere else. Great price, great quality and quick service.

I have two of these, one for my cable box to receiver and one from my DVD player to my receiver. They work just great. It's just the right amount of money spend for reliable, well made cables.
I had purchased two Vortex cables and they were so skinny, they look like toys. So I saved $1 or so, but the cables look like little cheapy cables. These Tripp Lite cables look like the $10 cables I see at Radio Shack or any other electronics store, and work as well.

As with most things digital, an optical cable either works or it doesn't. This one works. The ends seem to be sturdy, and plugged easily into the optical audio out on my HTPC and to the optical audio in on my surround system.
You can't get too excited about a simple cable other than to say it isn't defective. It works. The reason for the five stars is the unbeatable price. These cables sell at electronic specialty stores for several times what I paid on Amazon.

Not much more to say. Most of your cheaper cables are poorly made but this one is well put together. It doesn't have the same level of protection as the really expensive ones but you really don't need it as long as you don't abuse them or tie them in knots.
Everything hooked up perfect and the difference in sound quality is amazing. If you've been putting off upgrading because of cable prices grab a couple of these and enjoy the improvement.

I had shopped for a 6 foot, digital audio cable at all the local electronics stores and could not find it for less than $15.00. So, I decided to try Amazon and found this cable for an outstanding price. Even with shipping, the cable was much less expensive and I only had to wait a couple of days to receive it. It was delivered on time and worked perfectly when installed. Definitely improved my listening experience for movies and games.
