I gave this GPS to my parents, who are not very tech savy, for christmas and it seems to be doing the job! They can enter the address easily and said they trust it to get them places they have never been before. We tested several known locations and each one the GPS delivered us to without mistake or issue. It even has british voices to sound sophisticated :) I would recommend this to anyone who has no need for more advanced features.Customer Review: Great starter unit.

I've had this unit two weeks now. It is my first GPS unit. The interface is extremely easy to get the hang of. It's compact size and the way the mount folds up with the unit is convenient. If you've never owned a GPS unit and are looking to try one out without spending a lot of money this is a good unit to try.
The only downside is that the unit does not come fully charged. Other than that it was a great purchase.

I bought the TomTom One GPS for a cross-country drive I took with my 16 year old son. We'd use it to find the best route from one part of the country to the next. I have a built-in GPS in another car (a Lexus) and we both felt the TomTom worked even better. It was precise, easy to setup and understand and got us where we wanted to go. Given the price, I didn't have very high expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised.Customer Review: TomTom Terific

Two weeks ago I traveled to a city that I'd never been to before, so I bought a TomTom One. I arrived at my destination with no problem at all. My TomTom guided me straight there. The direction were clear & the system was easy to program,very easy to understand instructions. TomTom One is also small enough to carry with you in your purse. I also found good resturants, thanks to TomTom. This is an excellent product.Customer Review: Just what I needed, nothing else

The TomTom one is just what I wanted. Not too fancy or complicated. I've used in localy and on trips and it's done just fine! It found everything I needed and reset fast when I missed a turn or didn't want to go that way. This is perfect for someone who just wants a basic unit. One thought though, turn off the "speeding" tone. It doesn't always know the right speed for the road your on and that can be annoying!
