Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of TomTom GO 720 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator

Customer Review: Better then Previous Tom Tom 510
Summary: 5 Stars

Can't be more pleased with this Tom Tom 720. Great product and price. Does all I want it to do and more is easy to transport. Did find that US Map was outdated and TOM TOm home would not update for free under the latest map guarantee. Contacted TOM TOM and they readly downloaded an updated map after I sent proof of purchase with logo from Amazon.com. Have since purchased a map of Ireland where I will be traveling. Is easy to update and easy to download from your computer. I find the Tom Tom has a great support group and features which are not offered with other GPS systems for the price. Recommend you check out all the features before buying. Haven't used it too much yet, but to date is pretty accurate and easy to use. If anything like my previous Tom Tom I will enjoy using it.

Customer Review: Highly Recommend
Summary: 5 Stars

I got a GO 720 this past week and I love it. I used it a few times now in the Philadelphia area and it works great. Very smart unit. I had no problems connecting and updating from my computer. Have not used the Bluetooth or FM yet but I'm sure I will as I become more familiar with these features. After some research and comparing with other GPS units the GO 720 has the best bang for the buck and Amazon has by far the best prices. I bought mine for $350 including shipping, $50 to $100 cheaper then other retailers.

I don't know why some people are having problems with this, its very user friendly. Like anything new, there is a learning curve, but no problems here. Highly recommend. Note: I don't work for TomTom or Amazon; I just know a good deal when I see one.

Customer Review: Better than a Garmin
Summary: 5 Stars

Everyone told me to get a Garmin. But I like to make my own decisions and went with the Tom-Tom instead. After working out the initial bugs,(when I turned it on I was in Guam!!!) I'm now glad I went with my instincts. It finds the satellite almost immediately and speaks loud and clear where I'm going, it shows the speed limit and time of arrival. I'm a senior and I found it very easy to operate. When I had a problem with the windshield mount, they sent me a newer model for free. They have someone available twenty four/ seven and they are all very friendly and knowledgeable. It even has blue tooth, plays my ipod tunes, stores pictures and so much more. You can't get a better deal for the price. I'm glad I went with my Tom-Tom. Take that, Garmin.

I purchased the TomTom 720 at the last minute and paid for expedited shipping. The respose from Amazon was the it would arrive in 3 to 5 working days after the purchase. The 3 day time was OK, but the 5 was too late for a trip I was taking. I called the company phone number, and they indicated it had been shipped. They e-mailed the UPS tracking number (through Amazon) to me. I was able to determine that it would arrive in time for my trip. It actually arrived in 2 working days after the purchase. I am very happy with the GPS as well as the company that handled the purchase.TomTom GO 720 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator

Great product! works very well.. you type in an address and drive to it. The points of interest are sufficient for my use. After several weeks I did not come across any geographical errors. The blue tooth works very well.
Speech is good, yes it mispronounces Spanish street names, but so do most non Spanish speakers. The pronunciation is still quite understandable, nevertheless.
I did quite a bit of research and chose this unit over garmin because of the user updates, plus all the features that in the garmins would cost a lot more money. I read some of the complaints and I did not notice any problems. I guess people will find fault with anything if they try hard enough. Nevertheless I recommend this product
